Procedures for Ordering Copies of Digitally Recorded Proceedings
Electronic copies duplicated on discs can be purchased from the office of the Manager for Court Reporting Services. These copies DO NOT represent the official court record and cannot be used in subsequent court proceedings.
Copies of proceedings that are statutorily exempt shall be provided by Court Order only.
Requests for an audio recording of proceedings can be made to the Digital Court Reporter's Office in Key West, Marathon, and Plantation Key. Parties and attorneys of record must provide the style of the case, case number, presiding Judge and time of the hearing. Additional information can be obtained by contacting the Digital Court Reporter Manager, Blasé Knabl, at (305) 295.3639 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A cashier's check or money order for $25.00 made payable to the State of Florida must be provided for the audio. Cash, personal/business checks, and credit cards are NOT accepted. Expedited requests will incur extra charges.
Failure to include all necessary information will result in a delay of your request.
Requests will be processed in a timely manner once all the necessary information and payment are received by the Digital Court Reporter's Office.
The CD will then be mailed to the requesting party or the party will be called to pick up the CD.
